Why SigEp?
SigEp will not only offer some of the most memorable experiences in your college life but will also set the foundation for a successful professional career. Our nationals offer and runs many leadership programs, like the Ruck Leadership Institute, Carlson Leadership Academy, Tragos Quest to Greece, and Life After College just to name a few. We also run a program of continuous development called the Balanced Man Program that grants new members equal rights and responsibilities upon joining. The program is designed to engage and challenge members throughout all four years college, with the focus of the challenges changing to fit the relevancy of your college career. So, for example, a challenge a freshman might have is to go explore the rec center with the goal of acclimating new members to campus; a senior or junior challenge might be to draft a resume with our house mom with the goal of preparing them for job applications. We also offer mentorship to all of our members. Networking is one of the most important aspects of the modern job market, so SigEp has implemented a career-oriented mentorship program to guide undergraduates through a lot of the confusing aspects of the professional world. Our fraternity is more than a social scene, it is an agent for professional development and a producer of balanced men.
