When leaders lean in, chapters level up — and Kansas Beta showed up in a BIG way at the Carlson Leadership Academy in Oklahoma City.
Each winter, the Carlson Leadership Academies equip newly elected officers with the clarity, confidence, and concrete plans to lead at the highest level. This isn’t theory — this is execution. Leaders learned how to inspire their brothers, manage teams, and hit real goals, then leave with a cohort of peers who support one another all year long.
Kansas Beta sent a deep, committed leadership bench, including all Executive Officers as well as other up and coming brothers interested in future leadership positions. In total over 17 brothers attended, the most of any other chapter in the central region.
And that wasn’t all. Rising leaders, committee chairs, and non-executive officers stepped into the Growth Skills Track — an intensive, high-impact experience focused on transferable leadership and sales skills that drive results inside and outside the chapter. Participants sharpened their ability to:
– Craft a compelling pitch
– Create urgency
– Overcome objections
– Make the ask — and close
– Anchor leadership in a powerful personal “why”
They didn’t just learn — they left with action plans to immediately apply these skills to their lives, their roles, and their chapter. This is how leaders are built. This is how momentum compounds. This is how we pursue “Largest & Best.”
Kansas Beta continues to prove that leadership development isn’t optional — it’s the edge. Proud of these brothers for investing in themselves, each other, and the future of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity at Kansas State.
Well done, Kansas Beta. The standard is rising — and you’re leading the way.
…..oh and yes they brought home a number of awards to add to the trophy case. These guys are flying high!
