Sigma Phi Epsilon will sponsor the event in partnership with FSL. The program titled, Love Mom and Dad, is the nationally recognized talk given by two heroes, two humans who have taken the worse possible time in their lives and made good from it. Love Mom and Dad tells the story of Mrs. Gruver and Mrs. Piazza son’s, Max and Tim, who lost their lives in Fraternity Hazing events on their campuses.
We are so very excited to bring this talk to campus, said Brady Fankhauser, VP of SigEp Learning Community, especially as we kick of FSL 2.0 and the new culture that will come with it in the fall of 2023. Attendance is expected to exceed 2,000 students.

“The young men of SigEp are using their SLC platform to tackle serious topics like Mental Health, Hazing, and Sexual Assault Awareness this year. They truly desire to have an impact on young people lives at Kansas State and have put into action, with intention, to bring that to life. I am inspired by their passion and impressed with their ability to balance head and heart on critical issues facing students today”, said Greg Pestinger KS Beta Volunteer and National Board of Director.
