Last week was very successful, we made it to our goal of just over $10,000. This is an incredible success in my eyes, we exceeded any yearly contribution this chapter has made to Big Brothers Big Sisters in nearly a decade by ten times in just a week, said VP of Services Harrison Dill.
That’s not even the biggest success to come out of the SigEp Safari. We gained official participation from a large majority of the sorority houses on campus, as well individual participation from members of every sorority on campus. On top of that we had members of other fraternities engaging in our fundraising, which has been unheard of in years past.
I believe that the SigEp Safari will continue to grow each year, becoming a leading philanthropy for the community to look forward to.
I would like to extend my thanks to all the gracious alumni who contributed to our event. We owe you a great debt and will continue to work hard rebuilding Kansas Beta, keeping in contact with those who have paved the way for us at each set of the journey.
