At our annual meeting and social we recognized 5 outstanding volunteers who have gone above and beyond in their area of expertise:
Jerry Dixon – AVC VP Housing / Mentor to House Manager – keeping our 75 year old house running and keeping it competitive / relevant to todays undergraduate
Lucas Renz Chapter Counselor / Mentor to President / Chair, IFC Alumni Advisory Committee – elevating the chapter reputation on campus, relating to young brothers and helping them reach their full potential
EG Herl: AVC Director / Mentor VP Recruitment – Motivating, inspiring educating our recruitment team on sales techniques. Under his leadership the chapter doubled in size with recruitment classes going from 12 to 30+ a year.
Rorry Pileggi: AVC Director / President Parents Club – Rorry has been a force on the AVC, ensuring that we stay focused on undergraduate needs. She has ensured the house is clean, furniture is in place and has elevated fundraising and social events for parents and their sons. Speaking of sons, we call 3 of her boys brothers today!
Pat Pesci: AVC Director / Mentor Kitchen Manager / Past Mentor VP SLC … and a whole lot more. Pat has supported the chapter in many ways over more than 20 years, from Faculty Fellow to coordinating repairs. Recently Pat replaced our mediocre (and expensive) university food service company with a private chef and wholesale food supplier … reducing cost significantly and improving overall quality to a high end restaurant experience.
KS BETA IS ONLY AS STRONG AS OUR VOLUNTEERS … Volunteers along with over 5 years of chapter undergraduate EC leadership and awesome recruitment has KS Beta once again knocking on the door of GREATNESS.
